The Fine Print Details of the Travel Match Format

  • Each bowling center will have 2 teams of 4 bowlers each.
  • Each team will bowl 1 team game against a team from another center, then 3 games of baker style, random draw against the other teams, then 1 position round baker game. The top 2 point winners will bowl 1 game of baker style for the championship. All games are actual scores, no handicap. Ties will be broken using a 10th frame roll off. $2 per game or $16 per team. Championship match is sponsored by host center.
  • Team #’s will be selected by random at the start of each match day.
  • 1 team point for each game won. 5 total points.
  • Teams will bowl every 2 months at different centers, TBD. Times/dates TBD
  • Each center will determine their own teams and provide a coach
  • Each center may bring along 2 subs, if desired – Subs may be used at any time
  • Shirts from the center will be optional.
  • Teams will be bowling on Sunday mornings or TBD and starting time TBD with tentative dates & location: Sunday, May 20 - Zodo’s – Bowling & Beyond - 10am; Sunday, July 15; Sunday, September 16 and Sunday, November 18
